So yesterday was a sort of a long day. First we took my brother to Big Bear since they were having a youth leadership retreat. For those of you who are not familiar with the distance for us it's about 4 hours round trip. After we dropped off my brother we went to Murrieta which was another hour once we got to the bottom of the mountain. We were mostly in the car the whole day but going to Big Bear was just a nice little drive. As we were driving we were just looking at the tree's and the snow. My brother out of no where said, "just think, our Father created this and when he speaks the mountains melt like wax." I was just like, "yup" in agreement. It's so nice to just be up in the mountians and just look at everything God created. As we are driving just listening to worship music and just worship Him. So after we came down from Big Bear we went to my cousin's house to just hang out for a bit and then came home. I just knocked out as soon as I hit the pillow.

Wow I have really negleted my site, the last time I did a new layout was a year ago. So I've decided to probably make this a blog site, but I just hope I can keep up with it. So let's catch up....
Let me start off by saying my family and I are finally talking again which is great, but....sad to say that it took a death in our family to make it happen. Last Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009 my Uncle Raymond (mom's brother) took his last breath. This is so hard for our family since this is the second Uncle to have lost. This was my mom's oldest brother but still young at 50 yrs old. But it is also my mom's second brother to have lost. The first was back in 2002 when my Uncle's life was taken from him at 42 yrs old by people who were never caught. My Uncle Raymond died from a diabetic coma which he had no idea he was diabetic. We just burried my Uncle on Feb. 27. I'm going to miss him very much. My mom side of the family is who I was raised around.
My son is just growing and growing and I can't beleive how time flies. He is 6 yrs old going on 7 this year. He is in kidnergarten!! My husband and I are just amazed by what a wonderful, smart, caring little he is becoming. I'm still working with the teamsters doing admin. the benefits. It's been two years I've been there. I'm still waiting on full time though. Of course our company is feeling this whole recession. So far about 15-20 people have been laid off, part-timers in all other dept got laid off, us in the call center got our hours cut from 30 hrs to 20 hrs. So as of right now I have Mondays off, work 3 4-hour days and one 8 hour day. With all this going on I know God will provide and we will be ok. I'm not sure how many visitors I have anymore but I do hope to at least to continue to blog.

So yeah I started to drift away from this like I always do. I want to drop it but at the same time I don't. Well I can say this year has been a great one. So many good things have been happening and I know it's all because of God. The last time I bloged I told you all how we had stopped talking to my grandma because of drama, well I'm to say that we are now slowly starting to talk to each other. Being the people we say we are we need to learn to forgive and being able to love them and welcome them at anytime because I know that is what God wants us to do. It feels so good to talk to her and be able to hold a convo without it being uncomfortable. I feels good for her to see my son because I know she missed him and my son didn't even remember who she was and now hes like, "Hi Great-Grandma" and gives her hugs and everything. I just hope it does continue.
So this week is my sons last week of school and it's summer time. He will be starting Kidnergarten next year. I wish the real world had summer time when it comes to job's and we got paid for it. Wow that would be great and to have all the school vaca's that would be the day! To bad the real world don't work like that. Well anyways it's getting late for me and I have to work tomorrow.

Monica Is Back (Hopefully)!!!
It's been almost a year since I last did anything with this site. I probablly lost a lot of visitors but it's ok. So much has happened since the end of 2006 which has sort of made me lose interest is this stuff. So much drama!! Well to first start off back in Oct. of 06 we stopped talking to my mom's side of the family(mostly her mom and sister) because of some drama. Sad, yes, but at the same time we were hurt but if people are going to put you down in ways that are just totally wrong then why keep them around. I do miss them because well that was the only side we were close to. I just pray that one day it will all end.Then last Aug. we finally got our own place again. We are back at the apts we used to live in. The same managers that were here when we last moved out were still managers, which was good for us because since the knew us and knew we were good tenents and paid rent on time they were just like move in, we wont even do a credit check. Then that same weekend we moved it my Tia from my dad's side passed away. About a month later my great-uncle passed away from my moms side of the family. For me 2007 was a bad year, I'm so glad that '07 is gone and '08 is here. I hope for this year to be a better year.
About the layout, I did this for my myspace and liked so much I did it for my website. Credit is listed.

Wow it's been a while since I last updated. So here's what's going on.....I finally quit Michael's and a got a new job. It's part time also but I'm making as much if I were working full time. It's a great job and I like it a lot. It's a lot to take in but I'm wiling to learn. They said I've caught on pretty quick. So about what I do, we administor the benifits for Teamsters. We handle med, dental, vision, prescription and all that good stuff.
Other stuff that is going on is pretty much the same. My husband in school and my son too. It looks like we are going to be finally get our own place again this year. This year is going be good for us.

So here's my Christmas layout, it's not all that great but I like it. So late time I updated I had told all of you that I didn't get that job, cause I didn't. Well I called them around the 14th or 15th of last month and they called me back and gave me the job!! I've been working for about,um, well going on 3 weeks. At first it was something I had to get used to cause I have never had a retail job. My last job was whatever cause I needed one for the money to save up for my wedding. But the other ones were for office jobs. So right now I am hired on part-time seasonal, which is better than nothing. Probably around the begining of next month I will start looking for an office job again.
My son had his first performance last night. It was so cute, I was so surprised to see how much he particapated in it, he did so good. Since he did do what he had to do other than just stand there we are going to buy the DVD the school did of the performance.
I guess there's really nothing else to update about here, so I'm done. Oh and if I don't update before Christmas just wanted to tell all of you, "Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year."

Finally a new layout. I wanted to hurry up and put this layout out because my 2nd wedding anniversary is coming up on Monday the 13th. Can you beleive that? I've been married for 2 years and tomorrow on the 10th we will have been together for 6 years!! Well here's a lil update of whats been going on, my son started school and has been doing very well. He just turned 4 on the 19th of October. That job I had told you about, Micheals, well I didnt get the job. I've recently started looking again. There has been some recent drama in my family and are currently on a non-speaking status which is on thier part. But I figure that as long as I have God, my husband, son and parents, brother and our close friends from church who are family to us how can we go wrong. I know who are true family is and who mean the most. Its sad that all this happened but despite all the drama I still love them no matter what! Alright well enough of that hope you like the layout.

So a new layout with Underoath. I love this band, I will be putting a song with it a lil later but you might want to turn it off if your not into screamo type music. Well I went to a job fair a few saturdays ago and they called me back just to let me know that everything went good. She said that will be calling during the next week for people to go down and get the paper work started for the part-time workers, but she didnt say if I got the job or not so I guess when she calls me that will be my answer. I also put in an app. at another place that needs an office asst. which is my usual type of work. I just hope I get something. My son starts school next Wed. My son had to get 3 shots, the tb test and they had to poke his finger. He has a lil fever right now cause of the shots. I'm so excited and so is he.

So as you can see I have a new layout out. I've been so lazy with putting updates here, but I've been so busy too. I've been looking for a job because my son will be starting school Sept. 6 so I got to start making money for him to go to school. Plus what good is it gonna do with me staying home and my son at school. The only reason why I stay home is for my son. Well just pray for me to get a good job. Ok so I opened a Live Journal which is just for friends only, so I have some where to go when I need to vent. So if you want to read it you have to be added to my friends list. I'm not so sure on how to use and I hope I did it right by it only being friends only. Alright well I think this is it, so I'm done. Oh by the way I'm going to be taking of some of the stuff I got on my page if I decide to.

Another update, just thought I'd update so you all know I'm still here. I've been very busy. We moved back into my parents house cause we felt it was time to move out of his parents house. Besides I do like living here cause we are closer to church and because we always have something to do. But like I said I've been very busy with being everyones Taxi. I will probably get a break coming this week because on June 30 my dad was taking my mom to work cause I didnt feel like it and some 16 year old hit them. So my moms car will be getting fixed this week. I thank God that it wasn't that bad cause this kid didnt stop. And today one of my close cousins finally got married, I'm so happy for him and I'm happy he married this girl. Then I got two more weddings back to back in Sept. which for for out Youth Pastor and my cousin. Got a BBQ going on next Friday. My moms b-day is coming up next sat. and the following sat. is my dads b-day. My cousins girlfriends is having another baby and shes due August 5th on my dads b-day. We are trying to plan a trip to S.D to go to Sea World again in August. So yeah as you can see we are busy.I'm sure when I will be doing a new layout cause one of my cousins is locked up and I asked him if he can do some drawings for me and I want to see if he will so I can use them for layouts. Alright I think I'm done with this.

The new layout is finally up. I know the date shows the 7th, but I got lazy and just had other things to do. I kind of wanted to try something new. I've never done a layout like this before. I actually got this whole idea from my brothers shirt but I made it my own his is different than what I have here. Like I've said before I wish I had Paint Shop Pro to do more stuff but I don't. My cousin gave my two new programs: Macromedia Studio MX Flash and Adobe Photoshop CS2. The only thing is that my comp is not new enough to allow those programs on it. I need a new comp, no matter what. I've tried looking for an old version of PSP for Windows 95/ME but no luck. Well anyways enough of that. I'm sure this layout will be up for a while also.
There are no updates, oh wait I did add a new link: Realest, check her out she's got some talent.
As for me and my family we are doing great. My son is as hyper as ever and talking so much more now and is very much in to Disney's Cars. Well I'm done.

Just thought I'd update a lil bit on here...I finally got my car fixed. It had been out since last year of May. It almost made it a year but we got it done before it became a year. My husband, cousin and dad all worked on my car. I'm just happy that I have own car again. It really sucks when you have no car and you have to borrow one or you have to call for a ride. Besides all that right now things are going good for my family. Yeah well still no updates for this site, but dont forget about the new lil site KD.

Well just wanted to put my new layout. Also to wish everyone a late Happy Easter. Mine was ok I was sick, but my son had a good time. Alright this layout is gonna be out for a while, so be surprise if this is out for longer than a month. I opened up a lil site to start doing some graphics and stuff like that just to see if it works out for me. So check out KD and see what it is. Well I hope all you like my new layout cause I do, of course it has a lot of meaning to it. Im done.
